Yes, you read right. We went to The Pizza Machine, home of the World's Largest Pizza, for Mia's end-of-the-year Brownie meeting last week. They deliver 5 foot diameter pizzas to you on a huge crane. It's really pretty cool. The restaurant itself is pretty cool too as they have lots of rough, industrial-style decor and crazy machinery everywhere. What a fun place. Here are a few photos from the night....

Mia's final Brownie Scout meeting of the year was held last night at The Pizza Machine in the old Vinegar Hill Mall in town. We love this old building as it's so full of character. The nearby streets are made of cobblestone and there are some great old brick steps leading up to the building. They made a perfect backdrop to take some portraits of the kids with my new Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. Love the artsy look of these shots. I snapped a few photos of Seth alone and then grabbed Mia for a few photos of them together, then Mia was off giggling with her friends. I'll have to take her for her own photo session another time. Check back for some neat photos from The Pizza Machine.

I'm sure all the boys out there try to ride their bikes with flippers, right? Likewise, all the girls opt to use their little brothers' cars as jungle gyms, right?
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms with crazy kids.

After some recent yardwork, the wheelbarrow was sitting on our back porch. One afternoon, the kids climbed inside and were just hanging out peacefully together (which is a rarity at our house). Luckily I was able to snap a few photos before they hopped out.
